Words don't deserve that kind of malarkey. They're innocent, neutral, precise, standing for this, describing that, meaning the other, so if you look after them you can build bridges across incomprehension and chaos. But when they get their corners knocked off, they're no good anymore…I don't think writers are sacred, but words are. They deserve respect. If you get the right ones in the right order, you can nudge the world a little.

I paid $24 to see THIS IS OUR YOUTH, and $22 to see the closing matinee of BULLETs...
Subsequently, I paid $2.00 for a balcony ticket to YOU CANT TAKE IT WITH YOU, and got a free ticket to HEDWIG this weekend, and a free ticket to IF/THEN this week.
SO good for you, original poster, for trying to make the system work for you! It sure has for me! :)

If anyone else needs a code, I highly recommend this app -- my code is VPKKW (this code has definitely not expired as asserted below). Enter it at checkout to save $20. Used it for last minute tix for Phantom and saved $20 thanks to being referred. Concierge was easy to find and friendly. Show was great (good to see one of Sierra's last shows).

I was gonna say I literally had no idea why anyone who lived in NYC would use this app, given that all it does is find discount codes you can find yourself and charges you $5 for the convenience of them doing it for you. (And to whoever mentioned that it beats TKTS, that's only true for the worse seats which TKTS usually doesn't get. When TKTS gets to those cheap seats, of course TKTS at 50% will beat that price.)
Then they got the free lottery for first previews at the Public. So, now I literally have no idea why anyone who lives in NYC would *pay* for any ticket using this app. The free lottery is nifty, and I hope that the Public and other not-for-profits continue to do it, I just would have hoped they would have done it on their own instead of promoting a for-profit ticket service like this one.

I also think that the partnership with the Atlantic Theatre Company and the newly added first ever mobile lottery for On The Town is great. Can't really complain for a free app, at this point… why not just download it to have for convenience?
