To Direct...Or to Act? that is the question Sep 12
2008, 05:17:24 AM
Just wondering.... i am sleep deprived, and have been thinking about what i want top do with my life while trying to get some sleep (thank you sinus infection...) I know how difficult it can be to make it as an actor out there in the world of theater But I was just wondering from some other views, how much harder is it to become a director? I have only worked with directors from my high school / community theater/ college. I KNOW directing is what I want to do. advice?

re: Bow Order May 8

its always awkward when they don't bow In "Hot n' THrobbin", at my college, the director just had the actors walk on stage one at a time and stand there in red light for about a minute. No bows. The audience had no clue, so us in the booth in the back had to start clapping like crazy to get everyone else to realize that yes, these were "The bows" I was also in "Impromptu", where another director decided that the audience will get it if we just stand there.,....they didnt.
