As if I would put them here. I already got called a pig in another thread...though on scruff & grind etc there are lots of guys who call themselves that
Yup I can't see it working long term in NY. It will be like Stranger Things. It might start strong but won't stay there long term.

But if it needs to cross 1.2 or 1.3 mil a week just to break even, you have to enter strong out of the gate and sustain that for several years.
I thought she was really good. The person they all should be grateful can't be nominated is Micaela Diamond because I think she blew them both (Levy & Michele) out of the water with what she was doing at the Public. But I'd give Michele the edge over Levy just because it was a more showy performance. I loved her Nobody's Side.
It could take a very long time to recoup in North America. Last year's film Paddington in Perus did very well in the UK but only grossed $45.8 million in North America. It dropped out if thectop ten at the American box office in its sixth week according to Wikipedia.
Disney should just steal the puppet tech & do a Winnie the Pooh show.
I've never read this play, but I knew I had a collection of O'Neil plays somewhere. Found it. It is a 1932 copy of "Nine Plays" "Selected by the Author." And he didn't include Anna Christie! 10 years later did even he question it?
I remember from my childhood my paternal grandfather - who I didn't understand at the time had a drinking problem that I later learned my grandmother, & my Dad & his sisters had a hell of tim
Don't trust news from Facebook people. They're going to transfer to Broadway? Really? The show is already on Broadway.
I should be sleeping, but does anyone else ever get an earworm in your head so much that you even dream it? I don't why but that part of "Florence quits" when he's sings "Woman woman" keeps repeating in my head.
I'm on the side of liking this. It could be tightened up. It feels like something that in an earlier era could have had a long life off-Bwy like the Fantastiks or Threepenny Opera in the 50's.
I'm glad I changed my schedule so I could see it. My hesitancy months ago due to the snippets of Lipton songs I had heard at that time was unfounded. I enjoyed most of the numbers in this quite a lot.
Everyone kvetching about changes.. the narrator... song placement.. lack of chemistry ( there's no f-ing lack of chemistry!)...etc etc... They're wrong. Simple as that.
The story has been streamlined and goes from one banger to another. From one sensational moment to another. There's intrigue and palpable anxienty. The audience is on the edge of their seats wondering what will happen next. The end brings a r
I hope this is the main thread for this show. Saw this last night.
Today wrapping up my 2025 visit with Chess and later Seat of Our Pants. Mid-week when I was packing to leave DC I felt like the 5 days I spent there was enough & I was actually ready to go home. But that half of the trip was a lot more walking through museums; and especially the African American History Museum was very difficult. I didn't even read everything
Yes I was house left. She & her friend were right beside and she was really angry.

I somewhat agree with the person sitting next to you (I feel like the “beautiful young man” needs a bit more of a something so we want her to go with him) but I found the whole show rather charming. Judy Kuhn in particular was lovely as always. I
Most people prefer to go into a show NOT knowing all the ins & outs of the plot. Unfortunately for this show, it is perhaps best enjoyed when you are prepared for where it goes.
A young lady seated beside me tonight was so completely angry at the break for intermission. She was just furious that the Wife would leave her husband for a creepy stalker type guy. That's a paraphrase of her words.
