Les Miz Revival Recording? Feb 13
2007, 11:16:14 AM
"this might be frowned upon, but could they do a highlight recording with only principals and cut down on who they have to pay?" They could record the show using karaoke tracks and they'd still have to pay the same amount of money. There is no cutting down when it comes to that. They would have to pay the entire cast and orchestra no matter what? Even if they did a highlight cd (I know the whole "one day more" = whole cast, but let's pretend) with only Celia, Adam

re: How Much Does It Cost to Buy a $110 Theater Ticket?- NYT Feb 10
2007, 10:51:39 PM
sorry let me get this right $1.50 (restoration fee) X 1,282 (seats in al hirshfeld) = 1,923 1,923 X 8 (shows in a week) = 15,384 15,384 X 52 (weeks in a year) = $799,968 someone check my math, is this right?

why isn't the restoration fee built into the ticket price to begin with? and why aren't the theatre owners responsible for their own restoration?

Sweet, I asked for a signed playbill. When I got mine signed at the stage door, he signed in black marker on the black Beauty and the Beast playbill. So I was hoping for a new one.

I would love Nightmare Before Christmas. Especially if some of the new rockier versions transfered in. Like Fall Out Boy's "What's This"
