How did these people become involved with the production anyway? I know Ebersole was out there soliciting producers to transfer the production from Playwrights to B'way. Are these producers she courted and is now sorry she ever did?
And I hated the ad campaign switch, too. The original ad design was classic, like the Beales. This tabloid design has no connection to the show.
I also think it is a shame there are no impressarios left, but they came with enourmous egos, too. (Think Dav

Don't sweat with not hearing from them. As others who have posted before me, working/living conditions there are less than stellar. And,YES, PLAYHOUSEFAVORITE, I have worked there, so I can speak from experience. While it is true, they often attract young, quality talent with little experience who are afforded a wonderful opportunity to hone their craft and build up their resume. I am sure this will land me in trouble, but I think Ebersole was better at Playwrights than on Broadway. (I saw it there once and on B'way twice.) There was a "phone-in" quality to her performance the last time I saw it. She just seemed to be going through the motions, especially during the second act where the sublime Wilson stole the show.
Also, by all accounts, Moore stands on her own 2 feet. So I think I will have to check her out over the next few weeks while Ebersole is out.
