re: '13' Revisions: From First Preview To Press Preview
 Oct 4 2008, 05:48:03 PM
Cool I'm glad! I mean my friends and I didn't hate it out here. But most of our parents thought it was terrible.
I'm glad for JRB's sake=]

mmm I wonder how it's evolved.
I saw it in LA...when it was here haha.
I don't think it was all THAT bad.
However I still stand by the fact that 13 year olds can't carry a show by themselves.
I mean even SA has the kids play off of the 2 adult characters.
Uhm wow cutting that much of it out? yikes.
I wonder how successful the free shows for teens went, and what their reaction was?

re: Lines from Broadway songs that would make great t-shirts

A little esoteric, but in middle school, my friends and i made shirts that said

"CRUP YOU."--West Side Story

BAT BOY & LEGALLY BLONDE
 Aug 1 2008, 07:54:25 PM
I swear I did a search and couldn't find a thread on this subject.

WHY is every other song virtually identical in Legally Blonde and Bat Boy? Accident? Coincidence?

Similarities include:

Legally Blonde/Comfort & Joy
Chip on My Shoulder/Three Bedroom House

re: Jason Robert Brown Posts Singing Contest On His Blog

hahah I JUST finished reading about that contest before signing on on here.
yeah, bad choices JRB.
Two similar-[ish] guy songs and one not-so-rangy women's song?
oh well, I'm interested to listen to the entries.

If someone hasn't wanted to be on Broadway since they popped out of the womb, they're less qualified than you.

SETH is God. No competition.

balletandbroadway totally took mine=]

I think Around the World from Grey Gardens qualifies, no?

I suggest that you delete your profile, come up with a completely new username [preferably a clever one this time] and stay as far away from wicked love threads for a while.

i.e. the equivalent of changing your name, growing a beard, and moving to canada in order to stay incognito and not get killed in real life.

re: BWW TV: Georgia Stitt w/ Jesse Tyler Ferguson & Friends in LA
 Jul 10 2008, 07:20:09 PM
okay well then I'm not that worried.
I was one of the youth choir singers
[NO not one of the obnoxious ones...my friend and I were seriously mortified by them]
and then we ended up sitting in a booth on the right side to watch the rest of the concert=]]

So was anyone else at this concert?
It was really fantastic.
JESSE FERGUSON was fantastic.
Even though the acoustics in the restaurant sucked.
Anyway JRB was there with Georgia and the whole thing was so casual and anti-showbusiness.
I'm glad I got to go=D

when I read the title I thought this was one of those threads that was intended to be one long stream of funny banter.
I'm severely disappointed that the OP was serious.

Really? THAT was the mega revolutionionary breakthrough?
how anticlimactic...

re: The Search for Elle THOUGHTS!
 Jun 11 2008, 11:43:30 PM
SSSSSSSEEEEEEEETHHHHHH!!!!!
Uhm isn't this all kind of bs?

Random amatures with a few girls who've "never been on broadway"...only 12 national tours?

MY LORD. Every other reality show where they stick a bunch of girls in a house you always have a few bitchy, a few bubbly, and a few sullen anorexics.
HAHA how different it becomes when it's 10 theatre personalities...that's suicide.

re: Spring Awakening - Get Digital?

**ENTERS SITE**

AHHHH.
Hahahaha broadway divas in HSM.
Laughing so hard.
Next year they can all have a "fabulous" battle/sing-off.

re: Spring Awakening Rules!
 Jun 4 2008, 07:01:54 PM
Hmm the title says "spring awakening rules"
Why did I open this?

AND SOMEONE....care to explain to me the meaning of "sock puppet post??"

re: Last Five Years, in reverse?
 May 20 2008, 11:00:36 PM
AHHAHAAHAH. Oh Kenny, we do want you and Jamie to end up together in the end. No matter how interested you become in the gay midget in ohio=)

And this is why we lurrve broadwayworld.

I don't know. While Cathy may seem slightly pathetic I find it hard to pick a favorite, really.
JRB makes them so human.
Which is why I think this show is so touching and successful.
