i agree with bundy5000
although of COURSE the actors don't owe anything to the stage door fans,and i get pissed too sometimes when u just want to get out of there but
kids who go to see plays like the little mermaid and BatB who stage door are there to be able to meet their princess' in the real world because half of them still believe in magic
if the actor is going to stage door and be rude to them, it changes their experiance whether they liked the play or not

wicked-i loved the overture before i liked any of the songs
phantom and sweeney todd are both really good ones too
they're the kind of overtures that you listen to on a cast recording opposed to skipping to the first vocal one

as much as i loved emmy in phantom, i like her voice but only when she's using her head voice
and her personality is way to serious to play someone like ariel, she's a good actor but i don't know if she could pull of the magic needed in the little mermaid for ariel's character

but i was wondering how the cast recording is now that the cd is officially out in stores
i recall hearing people complain about the pre ordered one that was released with different sound and technique problems, did those clear up with the official release?
and how is it in terms of the show? does it do it justice to the degree that it can?

her voice isn't the princess voice that amy has but i think she did an ok job
i was really excited for it and kinda expecting more but all in all it was alright and i guess just nice to see her again
