"Maybe they will make the chandelier fall faster. :-O"

Hahahaha! An visual of the cast as robots just popped into my head... (<--- Evidence of sleep deprivation...)

Thanks so much for this... I absolutely love this musical.

And, thanks, LesMisere, for uploading!!!

who have you gotten stuff back from?
 May 20 2008, 04:27:07 PM
I sent in a letter to Jon Groff a couple of weeks ago and just got a signed headshot with an ADORABLE note on it.

He's the greatest.

He's actually the only actor I've ever sent fanmail to!!!

re: Riabko & Socha will be SPRING leads

In response to Theatreboy- I don't quite know, but I hope not.

In response to the thread, I am not a huge fan of Socha- I think she'll be a huge step down from Lea.

re: Tony Watching Drinking games
 May 14 2008, 10:15:57 PM
... Every time someone thanks their Dad, because it's on Fathers' Day.

It's going to be a long morning--- I'm in a rehearsal that night, so I'm waiting until the next morning to watch. =)

Dalefully and SirNotAppearing, you guys killed me.
But, if we drank every time they showed a gay man, we would be killed.

We can also drink every time Whoopie announces she's having another hot flash.

Ooooh...

I'm gonna go with Second Chance from Steel Pier.

Biggest Tony upset ever?
 May 14 2008, 04:47:54 PM
It's a tie between:

1. Cheyenne not being nominated for Best Featured Actor... WHAT?!

and

2. David Hyde Pierce winning Best Actor over Jon Groff.

and

3. Lion King over Ragtime.

and

4. Alan Cumming in Cabaret over Brian Stokes in Ragtime

and

5. Steel Pier coming away with absolutely nothing. I know that it isn't the greatest, but I love the show and I think it should have gotten something.

I actually think Sunday in the Park with George will do Putting it Together...
re: What do you think are the best and worst shows on Broadway right now?
 May 11 2008, 05:05:48 PM
dramagirl, I agree with you on the RENT aspect, but not on the Spring Awakening opinion.

Spring Awakening had to have had some lasting impact on a few people, including, but not limited to, those who have gone back to see it dozens of times.

BEST--- Spring Awakening.

WORST--- GREASE.

I didn't think that The Little Mermaid was that horrible...

***GOOD ENERGY!!!!!!***

Have an AMAZING show tonight =)

re: Actor injured this afternoon in Little Mermaid
 May 11 2008, 11:03:41 AM
Apparently, he fell off of the ship, and the article was wrong in that the ship was in its between-show position (40-50 feet), rather than its pre-show position (20 feet) as a commenter on the original article says.

My question remains in why he would be on or near the ship without a harness, or why he would be near the ship in its 50' between-show position at all. =(

Best wishes to him--- It's a miracle he survived.

re: If you had to pick ONE show...
 May 6 2008, 03:39:32 AM
Spring Awakening...

Followed by many:

Zanna, Don't! (it's not the most amazing thing written, it just strikes my fancy)

Godspell (2000 Revival)

and RAGTIME, to name a few.

Unpopular Opinions You Hold

.......

I loved The Little Mermaid!!!!!!

who have you gotten stuff back from?
 May 4 2008, 08:33:03 PM
Spring Awakening is probably going to take longer than usual because of J. Groff and Lea Michele leaving--- But it could be anywhere from a week to three months, again, depending on who you send it to.
re: Have you ever left at intermission?
 May 3 2008, 09:23:08 PM
I actually haven't left at an intermission--- As others have said, I can't see it happening. I find it to be rude and also awkward.

That being said, I *nearly* walked out in the middle of a one-act play about the Holocaust--- It was VERY, VERY intense and emotional and I could barely handle it.

I have no idea why he is wearing a jacket.

FUNFACT- It's the same one he wore on his 'backstage tour video.'

Hehehe =)
