Love this! Thanks for posting. And I like the thread title - kept me interested. All interviews with these two put me in a great mood! Just swell.

Spring Awakening - the Hayloft scene, just because it is so awkward standing in the Ladies' Room during Intermission. Also, I love Coming Up Roses in Gypsy.

Unbelievable PocketsquaredFanadu! Well they knew matinee ladies weren't going to love it. At intermission... "Is it half-time?" "Yeah, I think it is half-time."

It will kill me not being there! If I could pick one CD signing to go to at this point, it would be this one. I want to see the LuPone when placed in a different environment!

re: Who was the nicest Broadway actor or actress you met? Jul 21

Johnny Gallagher and Jon Groff - They each spent literally ten minutes speaking with me. They are both so thankful for all their support! Matt Morrison - He was really funny and charming, and rode this awesome motor scooter away from Piazza. Lea Michele, Victoria Clark and Kelli O'hara - They got hearts full of love! Jennifer Laura Thomspon - She was incredibly kind (but had a jerky bodyguard). Norbert Leo Butz - He personalized both me and my sister's Playbills, along wi

I would be genuinely happy if a plate hit me, because then I could tell everyone,"One time, Patti LuPone hit me with a plate. It was awesome."

I thought this show was just a rumor somebody started as some sick joke! I mean, Jim Sturgess starring as Peter Parker, Bono making a rock score about a superhero in spandex - just imagine it for one second! Was I ever mistaken. Maybe it won't be that bad. But as someone who only visits the city about once a year... I don't think so. I can still enjoy it through threads like THIS!

God damn, the bottom line in theater etiquette is to KEEP YOUR PHONE OFF. FOR REAL. Kudos to Patti. In my own experience, at the show one week ago after Rose's Turn, naturally I came to my feet in order to give Patti her properly deserved ovation (I mean, HELL). Most of the audience was standing as well, I think. About 10 seconds before everyone began sitting down, the woman seated behind me viciously snapped, "SIT. DOWN." It was just awful, and made me feel nervous like I did somethin
