it's been like 4 months since Donna left and ppl are still complaining about the missed perfs.
Please, stop this ! it is getting so aggrivating, not because it is Donna being bashed,but that ever since this, some have been analyzing so many others... please let it go. thanks
anyways, does anyone know when the movie is scheduled to be shown in theatres?

i saw the show and i loved it!! it is a great comedy with lovely humor and a interesting look on the 1930s'look on NYC Greenwich Village life.
The show is a light airy show and it does seem full of life
but it all goes to the creators, Comden and Green, for their witty and brassy lyrics for Ruth, and their charming, sweet-smelling lyrics for Eileen...
And the music is all Leonard Berstein who is truly belongs to the Legend of KNOCK OUT Composers and lyricists.

and i realy dont know if this is gonna work.
So many people have said that this was the best thing
that ever happened to the show, but i think that it is
a bad bad choice....
I know she is great with choreography.. but how is she
when she sings Swing and Conga...

With her not being in these past two
weeks, its about time they announced she had
left... Well at least WT still has Gregg Edelman..
We will miss Donna... but
i admire her work and wish her the best..
Does anyone know what Donna might be doing next?
i havent heard anything about the "tv-show" and of course
there was the chance of her being in Dessa Rose.
hmm... something to think about...

i totally agree w/ jrb_actor:
its the managment's fault...
this entire thing seems crude..
and if u want to see her.. i would wait
til another show comes up..
anyways..
there are only 6 perfs left..
so ur choice..
the weislers always seemed kinda eery to me.
the show should close, with all this controversy
and terrible reviews.. i will be surprised if
it makes a comeback with Brooke Shields...

i wonder if the show is going to close after all..
since Brooke seems to be wanted by the company in WT,
but the show has gotten so much bad press that i wonder
if it just shouldnt close its doors.
I wish Donna the best and well.. it will not
be the same without her. I guess that is the mutual feeling
when the original star, (the first to create this role) leaves,
and then someone has to fill the shoes.. it's not easy.
but who knws, Brooke might just be g

I have been seeing so many comments with people that need
to return to Broadway and some people who need to be kicked out of NYC and some that should be on Broadway!!!!
I would love to see Vanessa Redgrave return.. and oh i would love to see Bette Midler do a musical!!

i apologize for my outburst...
but could this really really hurt her career?
i mean, maybe she will get this tv show gig..
but i have been thinking (with the Ridel article,
as much as i dont like him) with all this talk of
her leaving of a med condition.. what is going on with
her being absent so much during her last weeks on WT?
things just seem weird right now with the entire show...

i just learned from a source that Donna was on a contract to perform 600 performances of the show and Mike Ridel writes that she has missed 60 performances (20% of the perfs done) well, from what her contract has, it would have been only 10% of missed performances.
so, to all Donna bashers, please be conciderate, and wake up and realize that she has been ill for quite sometime.
i mean, Jen Westfeldt is leaving becuz of her tv gig (she has a business reason ) Donna has a personal r
