re: Why Newsies Should Come To Broadway! Jan 5
2007, 10:24:13 PM
I absolutely LOVE Newsies! realistically- it won't be on Broadway anytime soon first, someone actually has to make a legit production of it that makes money if they need young kids-- i'll do it! and in this case, i would be honored to be a boy in 8th grade, a group of us spent our entire math class all year staging the show and drawing sets..... obsessed much?

I can't wait until it comes out in my town Dec 22! its trailer was before "For Your Consideration," and I thought it was better than the actual movie I paid for... then again, I am completely obsessed with The History Boys so I'm a bit biased

re: Have you ever walked out of a show? Or seen others walk out? Nov 5
2006, 05:03:52 PM
I had Standing Room tix for The History Boys and it must have been the first 20 minutes, there were ushers going up and down the stairs behind us to the mezzanine, then eventually, a lady came trudging down the stairs and threw her playbill down on the ground and huffed and puffed her way out of the theatre- not very politely might I add... all during intermission, my friend and i were trying to find her seat. haha oh, and the lady next to me's cell phone kept on ringing (tho very quiet

Farewell, Sweeney! Sep 3
2006, 10:45:45 PM
I'm completely devastated that it's over... I saw it July 19th and August 23rd.... absolutely incredible! I went to a summer program in the city and I wrote it on Manoel's character choices for Toby and how it was a "memory play", I got to interview Mano and he wanted me to send it to him... i did but i mis-wrote the address so it was sent back to me so the 2nd time i saw it i was able to give it to him... turns out his best friend (Abe- mentioned in his bio) is the brother of the lady i babysit
