I meant factually as you need to have sources backing up most of your statements. Sorry if that was confusing. Those are some really great speech ideas, really. I was thinking of what I could do, but I couldn't think of ways to back them up. I'm going to do some research on all of them tonight, and see what I could do. This was a great starting point, and I really do thank you guys for all your help. Phyllis Rogers Stone and MusicSnob1 - The reason I was asking on this board w

Broadway Persuasive Speech Topic Nov 22
2009, 04:27:19 AM
I have to do a persuasive speech for a public speaking class, and I really, really want to do a Broadway topic. Really the only requirement is that it has to be 5-7 minutes and it has to have statements that can be backed up factually (which is why I'm having a problem with this). Anyone have a good idea? Or at least at starting point for an idea? And, maybe some evidence for it? Thanks guys!

I'm sure a million posts have been put up about this, but could anyone give me any advice for the Wicked lottery? I know when it starts and stuff, but how many people are generally there?

Later, I saw another woman getting pretty angry also. I'm not trying to fight you on this, I promise! It's just what I saw. You may have seen something totally different.

Honestly, I didn't mean that like riots. I was generalizing the fact that people were very, very angry (at least from what I saw).

So, I was also at the performance tonight. I was looking around the boards just to see if anyone knew what happened to Alice, and I can't help but add my opinion of the show. First of all, I came up to NYC for my 'senior week'. Next to Normal was the FIRST show on my mind, and I convinced my friend to go by showing her all the youtube vids/reviews. We watched the Tony's together on sunday, and when Alice Ripley won, I was BEYOND excited to go. I was walking around the city toda
