Two great perspectives (I'm assuming same price?). But if I had to choose, the first row mezz!!!

Not gonna lie, I'm a little jealous. Don't forget to get there early!
"

Plus with front row mezz you won't have to worry about someone tall in front of you!

could Pinto be the new McKinley? He says this is his 3rd track... I haven't seen anyone else currently in the ensemble post about leaving anytime soon.

I guess we'll find out soon if anyone has a "Happy Trails" post tomorrow!

A couple years ago after seeing him in Something Rotten, I tweeted about how great I thought he was. Didn't tag him, but he liked the tweet which caught me off guard. So I imagine he does have an alert of some kind set.

I had never seen him at all in any role but now I want to see him as Price too. His voice was incredible and he was a terrific McKinley.

Probably not likely, but I think it would be fun to bring in someone brand new to the show.

If not, and if Ashfield is planning to come back, maybe they slide Bud Weber in? I saw him this summer go on for McKinley and he was great. Maybe he takes over and then whenever they need him for Elder Price they use an u/s for McKinley.

Just spitballing. Or they could just do their standard "bring someone in from one of the other productions"

Mike Barrett said: "Broadwaybri2 said: "Im very confused/curious how the show will exist without her? Surely the script needs to be adjusted?"

Haven't seen the show, but pretty sure she's acting as herself. As in, shes playing herself as a teenager/college student. So she's still acting. Id assume the new lead is just playing a teenage version of the playwright.
"

Yes, she is "playing herself" but she also IS herself

Eliza2 said: "they went on sale at 9:00 am the morning of the nominations announcements. I got mine, but they did sell out quickly.

Last year they initially said there would not be any for sale to the public, but then later changed that and put them on sale. However, when they did go on sale, they held a lot back. Then about a week or two prior the Tonys they released more (at that point, I called and switched mine for better ones). But there were still so many that didn't sell since it was so last minute, they ended up implementing the student rush in order to fill the seats.
"

As they did last year, yesterday they released a block of tickets that were held back from the initial sale. Nothing available in the 3rd Mezz but as of this post there are about 175 tickets available in the 2nd Mezz for $731. They released this second batch much earlier than they did last year, probably since last year it was so late and they didn't sell which led to that student rush...

Musicals most people hated, but you liked  May 20 2019, 03:55:45 PM

I absolutely loved Finding Neverland.

I'll also add myself to the "loved Groundhog Day" list although I felt like the opinions on that one were more 50/50 as opposed to "most people" hating it

So is it okay for audience members to sing along during musicals appropriate?  May 16 2019, 11:41:50 AM

Nope.

And I don't agree with the concept of it being okay at "jukebox musicals" because these are songs people know.

If I grew up in a house where cast recordings were played more often than the radio, then I'm going to be more familiar with songs from My Fair Lady than from The Temptations. So does that mean it's okay for me to sing along at My Fair Lady just like the people who want to sing along at Ain't Too Proud? Because that's the music I grew
