If it’s A Little Night Music I hope we get Sierra Boggess and Emily Skinner reprising their performances from Barrington Stage

Summer, 1976 is doing a lot better than most MTC shows. The best weeks they’ve seen since The Little Foxes if I’m not mistaken. 

All of my friends (21-28 ish) have seen Normal People and love Mescal… I don’t think any of them know what Killing Eve or who Jodie is. Not that the audiences would be the same but I think Paul would sell very well in New York.

Patti LuPone said something like, it’s worse to be ignored than to be trashed. 

Poor Carolee. Always the shining moment in dull show.

I don’t think you should have a hard time trying the box office day of. Since there are 2 shows on 2/8 you’ll have better luck at rush. Funny Girl doesn’t have rush for Lea (I believe) though. 

Hopefully she does another mini residency/concert like she did for her last 2 albums. The first one sold better than the second but both did very well and were a great time. Even if she doesn’t have an album soon would love to see her in New York. 

Marianne Elliott’s Company had good orchestrations that updated the 70s sound without sounding dull. 

The movie came out in 2012 a few months after her album RED came out which truly cemented her as a force. She did have 6 Grammys at the time though. 2014 was when she achieved full superstardom. 

Smart move to have a cast of film and tv actors open in LA. Hopefully this builds some social media buzz. 

Saw it over the weekend and the costuming in general is bad or awkward at times. Emily, Jason, and Sierra were all very good. Most of the other cast was good too, but I found a few performances underwhelming. I found the show itself to be quite boring and long. I’m sure I’d like it more in a better production. 

Julia will be leaving September 4 to film season 4 of High School Musical. Really sad to see her go

I sat there for ITW. I had a hard time seeing the front of the stage at times because of people leaning forward. I’d splurge for the orchestra.

You’ll be good. From what I remember some of the proscenium gets cut off but none of the show itself. 

I remember when this production was in London and everyone hated it and dragged the star for missing performances and for her performance. History repeats itself.
