Musical Performances on the 2023 Tony Awards  Jun 11 2023, 12:27:32 PM

I feel doing KA doing Anagram would be a mistake. Sure it’s a good song but I don’t think that will do anything to convince the casual Broadway viewer to see the show. I feel the purpose of a Tony’s performance is to get people to want to see the show that haven’t already. This is why I think “This Time” would be the best choice. It’s upbeat and showcases the whole cast.

Lunt-Fontanne Seating Advice  Mar 27 2023, 08:30:10 PM

Looking for advice for seating. I have 3 options: Center Orchestra Row S, Right Orchestra Row Q (seat 7), or Front Mezz row E seat 4. What do you guys think?

ALMOST FAMOUS On Broadway - P/reviews Thread  Oct 17 2022, 08:22:51 PM

I saw this last Thursday and loved it. It is not a jukebox musical as some might think it is. Majority of the songs are original music with the exception of 3-4 songs. It is a fantastic adaptation of an incredible movie. I’m not going to say it’s better than the movie because it’s not. But let’s be clear and the original source is most likely always better than the adaptation. That being said it is still a great show. I might be biased as the movie is one of my all tim

I feel if you are going to quote the fomofeed on Instagram you should state what they said before they posted what they thought of the production. I can help with that: "I caught the first preview of this last night. A couple of cavets: I'm not typically a fan of commercial theater (I've tried! I really have). I'm a mild fan of the movie (it's an especially great one to watch on an airplace). I had extrememely low expectations going in."

So I really wouldn'

November 5-11th visit recommendations!  Sep 23 2022, 11:15:37 PM

First off nice work planning to see Almost Famous! I think people are going to be very surprised by it. Saw it San Diego back in 2019 and it was spectacular. I am going to see it again next month. As for your other options: I saw Into The Woods, Beetlejuice, and Little Shop Of Horrors last month and all 3 were fantastic. I would definitely try to see Beetlejuice as both Alex Brightman and Elizabeth Teeter are amazing in it. If you can afford it Music Man is worth seeing too. Also I have heard

Moulin Rouge (pro) reviews  Aug 29 2019, 10:22:32 PM
I saw both (Hadestown and Moulin Rouge) last Wednesday and loved both. They are both very different and that doesn’t mean one is more enjoyable than the other. I think it’s a great thing to see 2 shows and have a different great feeling for both. That is what entertainment is all about!
HADESTOWN SEATING?  Apr 17 2019, 06:28:57 PM
Is it worth $50 more to sit I Orch row M in center opposed to row C in Mezz center?
HADESTOWN SEATING?  Apr 16 2019, 11:15:22 PM

So I just noticed today that they have already started raising prices for shows in August. I want to get tickets before it’s too late. I am decided between 4 options:

MEZZR row A seat 10 for $159
MEZZC row C seat 107 for $159
ORCHR row R seat 1 for $135
MEZZR row E seat 2 for $129

Would obviously love to sit middle orchestra but I don’t want to spend over $200 which it is now. I am leaning towards MEZZR row A seat 10

Moulin Rouge Seating  Apr 4 2019, 06:21:20 PM

A website I always refer to when looking for seats is A View From My Seat. Below is a link to the Al Hirschfield Theatre. I used this when purchasing tickets to this show and am sitting in Right Mezz Row G for $139 in August. Good luck and have fun!

King Kong or Pretty Woman  Sep 19 2018, 03:04:03 PM

Thank you for all the replies. I think I am going to go with Kong as I am pretty sure Pretty Woman will go on tour and we have season tickets at ASU Gammage. I think seeing King Kong on Broadway will be pretty fun. Thanks again!

King Kong or Pretty Woman  Sep 18 2018, 10:21:02 PM

I am coming to NYC for work in late October and have time to see 1 new show. The 2 that I am most intrigued by are King Kong and Pretty Woman. I am leaning towards King Kong but what scares me is no one really knows anything about it yet. Any thoughts as I am looking at purchasing tickets within the next week?
