The Unknown - Off Broadway Review Mar 26 2026, 06:51:05 PM
Yea we saw this last Sunday and absolutely loved it. The ending can be interpreted many ways, too, which is fun.
Hayes is a must-buy when on stage.

EVERY BRILLIANT THING Reviews Mar 23 2026, 10:09:21 PM
I feel alone that I didn’t care much for this (saw it Saturday night). Radcliffe is great, as always, but the s show itself to me feels more performative than having any new on the bones it tries to sale.
Maybe it’s the forced audience interaction - I don’t know. But outer The Unknown, Giant and Just In Time (for the 2nd time) this was my least favorite show of our 4-show weekend.

GIANT Previews Mar 20 2026, 10:38:29 PM
Saw this tonight. Started around 7:35, walked out of theater at 9:57.
Lithgow is putting on a tour de force of anti-Semite wrapped around like a Tucker Carlson “you are the one who should apologize!”
This will live in my head for a while.

Caught this last night and can’t add much more except this is tremendously fun romp, one I hope to catch again. Brilliant writing.

The Unknown - Off Broadway Feb 2 2026, 12:41:53 PM
A friend saw it on its 2nd performance and said it was very well done and Hayes is remarkable playing 10 different characters.
We see it next month, I’m pretty excited (minus the actual theater, which I loathe).

I loved all the performances but relate to wanting more. I saw it a few weeks ago and I think one of the things that I loved the most is its build. Plus since we did not have our phones, I meticulously watched how the stage crew had to set up the scene for act 2 which is so different. I felt swept away in act 2. All the while remembering the red canisters.

BUG Reviews Jan 31 2026, 09:33:52 PM
Caught the matinee today. I enjoyed it but it left me wanting … more? I’m not really sure.
This play should be right up my alley. Dark, psychotic, sinister plays are my jam but Bug for some reason didn’t fully sink its teeth into me.
The performances are all top notch. But I wanted more.

HELL’S KITCHEN To Close - Feb 22, 2026 Jan 15 2026, 02:54:53 PM
The timing is very weird. Too late for any show to mount for an April opening unless it is ready and was planned in the background, and too soon for th cast to draw out the farewell.
I don’t love this show at the Public but hats off for a great run.

New Merrily Pro-Shot reviews Dec 6 2025, 06:23:01 PM
Caught it to today and echo comments about the camera work being a bit to jarring. It got less jumpy after intermission but I wish they had used longer cuts and a bit wider of a lens.
I saw Merrily twice live and (not shockingly) missed Lindsey both times. Her Mary is more vulnerable and damaged that how Jamila played it, but I think I enjoyed the latter in the opening party scene a bit more.
All that said, this is a marvelous filming and I’m so happy to

She herself turned Funny Girl from a drag, blah show to a powerhouse of emotion and vocals. She’s a force on stage and absolutely kills in this role.

My first time seeing this show and I understand the weak book. But damn this show has banger after banger and this cast slays.

RAGTIME 2025 Reviews Nov 7 2025, 11:28:25 PM
Caught this tonight. What a marvelous performance marred by terrible sound design. Henry and Cassie stew the scenes, of course, but the entire cast is so, so good.
That said: Multiple mics off issues tonight so you couldn’t hear the vocals, and then some muddled vocal from the ensemble, etc. Worst sound design I’ve heard since Sweeney Todd.
