Girl Scouts Seeing Equus...
 Jan 21 2009, 09:19:32 PM
The 7th grade Girl Scouts had a choice of musicals that they wanted to see, and they chose Equus. I think they only chose it because it was about horses. I hope the troop leaders didn't know what they were going to see, because I'm pretty sure that they could've been fired.

Soooo, what do you think about 7th grade girls seeing Equus? I certainly don't think that they'll see Harry Potter in the same way again... :)

EDIT: They had no idea that Daniel Radcliffe was going to

How old where you when you saw Rent for the first time?
11 or 12

What was your reaction of the show the first time you saw it?
THIS IS AMAZING!!

Did seeing Rent get you intrested in seeing La Boheme?
(If Yes, what did you think?)
nope. EDIT: Scratch that. I didn't really read the question, but my answer is yes. yes it did. I still haven't seen it, but I really want to.

Did Rent change the way you look at people suffering with AIDS?
yes. de

re: 'Obama on my Mind'
 Jan 21 2009, 04:29:14 PM
How did I know this was gonna happen... I love Obama and all, but this is a bad idea. I think it should just be a play, no singing. I love musicals, but really?

re: Scariest moments in a show...
 Jan 9 2009, 07:16:47 PM
gunshots. gunshots scare the crap outta me. even when i know they're coming, i always jump 2 feet in the air. and any screaming that's either very loud when i'm expecting it to be quieter or i'm not expecting it at all. that's practically all that scares me.
re: Daniel Radcliffe 'Ask a Star'
 Jan 3 2009, 11:25:52 PM

they should just leave it to Eminem. He's the only good white rapper. Except my cousin IS pretty good. :)

re: Unpopular Opinions You Hold
 Jan 3 2009, 03:51:52 AM
I love Cats. It's not THAT bad.

I have no clue why, but I kinda sorta like HSM a little (don't hurt me!!)

I don't know if this is unpopular or not, but I think that instead of making regular movies for musicals, they should just film a live performance on B'way so that people who can't go to see musicals on stage can at least have the experience.

Spelling and grammar on the message boards don't bother me at all.

I like the song 'Barbie Girl' by Aqua

Twilight is dead (until the New Moon movie comes out)

This is just an opinion: The Nederlander Theatre looks sad without any RENT signs.

I love Hitler's little mustache :p

Disney musicals are very odd looking on stage because they were originally cartoons. For example: Beauty and the Beast. Nobody should ever have to dress up as a candle stick. But Shrek is fine.

There should've been a sequel to Cats called Dogs.

Other Opinion: I have too many opinions (the above is not all of them.)

re: Rent tour; 'two significant changes to the production'
 Jan 1 2009, 10:21:45 PM
