I think there's also the idea that if we close now it may be short term if the virus can be controlled. If they wait too long, closings might have to be much longer. I feel the same way about school closing.

It's a shame that our fearless leader has no plans to close schools.

Did Michael Bennett have issues with the creative team on Company and/or Dream Girls? I feel like I remember hearing that.

I am currently choreographing a production of The Wizard of Oz and after a few spats among the creative team, I began wondering if there are any famous examples of feuds or bad blood between collaborators in musical theatre history. I know about Patti LuPone's issues with Webber and such but I'm wondering more specifically about choreographers arguing with directors, etc. 

I'm not sure if this is technically a discount but the last time she did a Broadway run (3 years ago?) there were tickets on TodayTix beginning in the $50-60 range. 

"Best" is certainly a relative term, but I am partial to the vocal stylings of Jason Robert Brown.

Is there a list somewhere of who who performs the lead roles in each show? I haven't seen one on their website, but I want to see Sara Mearns.

I'm also considering attending. Do most of the nominees attend? Also, what is the appropriate attire? 

Were there any major technical glitches or stoppages last night? I usually hesitate to go early in previews for those reasons, but I'm looking to buy a resale ticket for tonight.

I decided to wait it out last night with Stubhub. Prices started dropping around 6:45 for an 8:00 show. I finally purchased a single ticket around 7:40. It was originally marked at $250 on Stubhub and I paid $125 with fees. It was second row orchestra and the face value was $189. Stubhub is a decent option if you can be in midtown about an hour before curtain. 

I saw the Saturday night performances and it was my first real experience with the show. I can't help but think this piece must have inspired Ryan Murphy for AHS: Hotel. Lady Gaga's character reminds me so much of Norma and that eerie quality of the house as well. I would love to see Lady gaga play Norma Desmond in about 20 years.
