Maybe next time producers shouldn't offer roles without auditioning the actor in the first place. Oak was offered, not auditioned, and once they saw a combination of what he was doing with the character and the lack of box office appeal they were so hoping for, they did what any good producer would do; try and find a way to keep it open.
