to record from sat receiver to vcr is as follows::just plug the left and right audio cables coming from your sat receiver [sat receivers whether they have 1 set of 3 jacks or 2 sets of three, ONLY have output jacks composed of left-right audio plus single video,so you CAN'T go wrong] into the left and right audio INPUT jacks on the back of the vcr[make sure you plug into INPUT not output on vcr] Do the same with single video cable coming from the sat receiver to the VIDEO IN jack on back of vc
