Hmm.. most recently would be during "The Next Ten Minutes" from The Last Five Years.
However, live.. it would have to be during the "Seasons of Love" soloist part with the touring cast of RENT. (I seriously thought the walls were going to shatter.. it was so amazing)

I think it was just from nerves. I mean, honestly, if you were up for Best Actress at the Tony's and knew that despite the regular huge audience (which I'm sure she's used to) that you were being broadcast to millions of homes wouldn't you be just a little bit jittery?
The performance wasn't bad by any means. Just not as strong as it could have been, I presume.
