I just realized that one of my favorite slang terms has never been used in this forum besides by me once. So, there's the term. Eargasm. It's an orgasm of the ear. With that said, when was the last time you eargasmed to a Broadway piece?

Mine was when Kevin Kern visited our school a few weeks ago and sang a "Empty Chairs at Empty Tables" for some of us. I had an explosive eargasm. I got pretty worked up the other night listening my chorus perform Franz Beibl's "Ave Maria" but that wasn't an eargasm nor a Broadway work.

broadwaystar2b, I'd have to say Godspell is THE show to eargasm to. I have multiple ones in one sitting with that show. "By My Side".. oh gods.

Well, I have had too many eargasms to mention in my life but the last eargasm was in the car this afternoon when I was listening to 'Finale Ultimo' from Little Shop.

we did mozart's requiem at the all-new england music festival two years ago...for a high school chorus we did DAAAMMMN good.

and my eargasm? has anyone ever heard jose llana on "hero and leander" by adam guettel? or anyone sing that song? OMG!! total eargasm.

Anytime I listen to ANYONE singing One Song Glory. Or, sometimes, and this is really weird, sometimes a Raúl song will hit me so hard and I'll just sit there and cry like a doofus! Gah, <333333 him.

Listening to Gary Mauer and Rebecca Pitcher sing Phantom of the Opera on tour... gives me so many eargasms... they are Gods. Well just listening to the whole POTO touring cast is just amazing.

And when Ellen Greene just belts it on Suddenly Seymour...

This isn't really a Broadway song, but Roger Bart and Gary Beach singing Silver Bells. This isn't an eargasm, this is an actual orgasm.
