Anyone else go to the show?

Hearing that she didn't do any theater stuff last time she was here does make me feel a little better about last night; it lets me know that I expected/hoped for something I was highly unlikely to get. Poor sound quality, I agree.

Oh yes, and she also wrote and performed a song about the Trail of Tears.

Did anyone else go to the show last night? Not a single musical theater song, though she was quick to tell us all that she was "home" and happy to be back in NYC. She did dedicate her song "Gin and Cigarettes" to Elaine Stritch, who she'd always thought of like a grandmother. I'm not entitled to anything other admission to the show, so I don't want to complain too much, and what she did sing, naturally, was flawless and fun. So, Ragtime is rapidly approaching, and we're all super excited about it. But, we're starting to look towards next year's production, and I wanted to just ask for a few suggestions. What shows would you love to see for just one night? We'd be looking for a show with a lot of big chorus numbers; Ragtime is appropriate in that way.
