Ahh I see. There does seem to be a lot of them here. I wonder if I'm the only one with a RENT related name...but I'm sure there are others who like the show alot too.

Thanks Dreamcatcher - RENT is so great. My teacher gave me this book to read about RENT and its creator, Jonathan Larson...I'm not done reading it yet, it's a big book.
BsOBW2 - Yes, Jerry Orbach IS cool and will forever be. I love the show Law and Order, he was so amazing in that show! Well, I can't say I'm a diehard 42nd fan, but knowing that it's SUPPOSED to be lighthearted makes me less critical of it.

Well, I didn't hate it...but I did really enjoy all the dancing. I do agree, if not for the dancing it would be pretty bad.
I love the song "Lullaby of Broadway" .. that's a great song. I also can't really hate the show because Jerry Orbach was in it... and he was cool.

I didn't really like 42nd Street. I thought the plot was kinda flimsy.. I loved the dancing though!

Are you guys excited for the show? I sort of am. I like Johnny Depp and even though I thought his performance in the movie was so so, I'm interested in seeing how it will be brought to stage.

John C. Reily is going to be in Streetcar? That's cool. He's a good actor...
I saw a production of Streetcar at a local theatre in November and it was great to see onstage. I'm excited for the show on Broadway, but Brando will always be the numero uno Stanley.

I'm really saddened by this. I liked Arthur Miller's work, he was one of my favorite playwrights. Last year our theatre class read "All My Sons". I enjoyed reading that play, it was great and very emotional. I also did props for my school's production of "The Crucible", that was hard work but it was fun to do.

Hey, just wanted to say hi. I'm new to the board. I've seen 3 shows on Broadway (all except one I loved). I also like the show RENT (hence my screenname!)
