A friend saw Sue Monk Kidd on a book tour video the other day and she said The Secret Life of Bees was going to London to the Almeida Theater. I think it was 2022.

Susan Birkenhead pretty emphatically said during a Atlantic Theater Zoom event that The Secret Life of Bees was going to continue and that they would be going to 'London'. Wondering if this is West End or somewhere else to start? Good for them, they deserve to keep going and eventually end up on Broadway.

It just extended because its pretty much sold out and the demand for more tickets must have been great. I dont know what it takes specifically to transfer, but this show seems to be checking all the required boxes. Great original score, top notch creative, top casting, great reviews, and the timing of the content of the story... it all just seems to be trending that way.Maybe there is some tweaking to be done first, I dont know, but if there is a show that would seem to have the fewest amount...
