The Secret Life of Bees is worthy of the hype.
Fairview is still playing I believe and Sleep No More I've heard is fantastic

A Strange Loop is a must-see and I also highly recommend In The Green
The Secret Life of Bees is simply wonderful.
See Fairview.
Not the best thing you’ve ever seen (I give it a 6 for coherence but 9 for audacity).
You’ll sometimes be irritated, bored, confused, angry, offended.
But you’ll never forget it.

I believe most of the major off Broadway theaters go on hiatus over the summer. You just missed the season which won’t start up again until fall. 59e59 fills the gap with their Summer Shorts and East to Edinburgh festivals. Another thing to look forward to is the New York Musical Festival which starts in July and runs for about a month. Unfortunately, we no longer have the Fringe Festival to tide us over.
Not a must see, but if you hurry you can check out Kathryn Erbe in Something Clean at Roundabout Underground.

I enjoyed each one, actually. Anyone see Toni Stone? Anything else out right now worth seeing? How do y'all keep track of off broadway with so many theatres and such short runs? Broadway I have figured out....off broadway is still so new to me but given how much I enjoyed the above performances y'all recommended I'd like to see more.

I keep a list of shows in order of when they begin performances. And I find the shows mainly by keeping track of theatre companies that are on my radar.
I recently saw 'Perfect Crime' a few weeks ago, and I really enjoyed it! It's a mystery thriller, and apparently it's the longest-running play in New York City, which is super cool. Cheap tickets too, definitely something to watch I'd say!

If you didnt see it during its Broadway run, I thought A play that goes wrong was brilliant.
