I don't know what day you're going, or if you have yet, but I saw it last night in Hollywood (June 26th) and Maria had her strong points, but overall was not as impressive as I expected the understudy to be. Her acting was much better than Idina's, and she has a strong voice, but so much of her singing and her vocal acting was not what it should be. Whoo! I saw the show with Idina in New York in January, but I live out here in LA and am taking my equally-fanatical best friend to see it on Sunday. I've heard Stephanie is better than Idina (which is frightening since I idolize Idina), so I'm excited to see if the rumor is true!

I thought she was good. I missed her on Rescue Me and hadn't seen her on tv until last night. It was hard seeing her as anyone but Idina, though; I didn't see her as Francine. Hopefully next week she'll have gotten into the role well enough to be able to present Francine to us instead of Idina.
