Ruth Donnelly, famous for all of those Warner Brothers comedies of the 1930's, was standby for Patsy Kelly in "No, No Nanette".

Thelma Carpenter, who stood by for Pearl Bailey in "Hello, Dolly!", also eventually took over all of the matinee performances with "billing" in the ABC ads, so technically she ranks among Broadway's official "Dolly's".
