DEATH BECOMES HER Reviews Jan 5 2026, 07:51:16 PM
I was watching Las Culturistas and Jinx Monsoon was a guest. She loves Death Becomes Her the movie and musical. Seems like a shoo-in for the Simard role after her First h Mary stint.

Upcoming Broadway Shows Oct 1 2025, 09:46:59 PM
I am thinking about a trip in February to see Chess. I checked out the upcoming Broadway shows and it's pretty sparse.
Any chances that anything else will be opening by then, or is it pretty much going to be a slew of shows opening in March/April?

Has anyone been successful in stage dooring at the Cadillac Palace theatre?

Viva Las Vegas Production of May 11 2024, 02:06:46 PM
I attended the Saturday night performance. It was a great effort by all to bring a production at this level to a casino showroom. Was great seeing Andrea McArdle and other excellent performers. It wasn't my favorite of all time, but I think it shows promise for this new production company in Las Vegas.

Can anyone point me to an audio or video archive where I could hear Mommie Dearest as Norma Desmond? TIA

ONCE UPON A ONE MORE TIME Broadway Reviews Aug 3 2023, 10:43:24 PM
I really wish Britney would attend a performance, either with a crowd or in a private showing, and do some Instagrams. Spin around on stage. Do something!

Long term contracts Apr 4 2023, 07:37:27 PM
I have been expecting Reeve and Eva to call it a day soon at Hadestown, but they seem to be going strong. Good for them.
It made me wonder, what actors/actresses have had long-term contracts with a show in a major role beyond the usual 12-18 month contract?

People talking during shows Mar 28 2023, 12:05:45 AM
I recently took a group of students to &Juliet.
I had them sit, turn off their phones, and explained that everyone paid good money for these tickets and if they decided they didn't like it they should take a nap. Otherwise, sit and enjoy the show.
With about 10 minutes before the show started, another school group settled behind me. The teacher was LOUD and when the preshow began was laughing at everything at a level 10. I gave a look behind me and she assure

2023-2024 Touring Season Feb 15 2023, 10:50:11 PM
It's no different then pretty much every other city in America. There is like 2% of the touring market that does extended runs.

This is definitely a downgrade of a season.

Touring Cast Absences Jan 25 2023, 08:09:14 PM
I've noticed a trend that unless it's the first date of a tour run, there is at least one or more understudies on. This seems to be more than on Broadway.
How many days off do touring actors usually get off, besides travel and Mondays?

Ticket Sales Dec 30 2022, 05:40:11 PM
So, what are the thoughts as to why this is doing so poorly the second time around?
Is this another Beetlejuice with high hopes that didn't meet expectations? Or was this a Waitress who came back for a pro-shot?

The Official TDF Thread Dec 26 2022, 07:22:45 PM
I just realized teachers have access to TDF subscriptions.
If I am planning a trip, how far in advance do shows typically end up on here? I would like to maximize the year.
Also, are these similar offerings to what's available at the booth?

Bat Out of Hell - Las Vegas Residency Dec 24 2022, 11:01:11 PM
Update: Paris also hosted "We Will Rock You" which is another show beloved in London. It was horrible.
"Bat Out of Hell" is the same. I have no idea what I was watching. Props to a great cast, but the show makes zero sense.
The Paris should do "Fame: The Musical" next and they will have hit the threepeat on London shows that U.S. audiences will never buy into and will fail miserably.
