Personally I will be thrilled to even see the Fanny wigs change. I appreciate the period accurate styles they attempted but with the combination of the lackluster designed costumes, Fanny ends up looking like Mary Sunshine. I don't expect any book changes but I could expect the costumes to be altered. Honestly i'm hoping Lea Michele pulls a diva moment and demands some alterations! Those knee length dresses make Fanny look like a great aunt at a wedding.

Beanie has just announced that she will not be performing this weekend due to tonsillitis. She posted a video to her instagram. Wrenches continue to be thrown in her last few weeks of performances and i'm sure there will be much speculation regarding her absence. I feel badly for her. I was excited to see her end on a triumphant note. Hopefully all is not lost.

I hope that the audience at the AW tonight (and onward) show Beanie a lot of love. I hope her friends, family and fans come to show their support and help end this chapter for her on a high note. I think she is more than deserving of that kind of closure, performance aside. I never doubted that Beanie wanted to do it well for everyone and whether she succeeded or not is not longer relevant...all things considered. While I [shamefully]

I do agree with part of what you're saying. That part being the idea that a lot of praise is being given perhaps too quickly. Julie delivers something that many expected Beanie to be able to deliver. As a result we may get over excited and fool ourselves into believing were receiving a smash hit star making performance. I don't agree that she is "nothing special". It's too severe of an opinion to even respond to. These boards are filled with opinions. About the book, set

Okay, I’ll preface this with a warning that this review (of sorts) is gonna be filled with energetic opinions. I don’t want to ruffle any feathers so please know I love this show and am just sharing my thoughts. I wish it a long lovely run!! This is gonna be LONG and filled with nitpicking.
