Definitely intending to see her. Kinda feel that a star will be born. I hope the NY press makes it a point to catch her. The New York Times did this when LuPone was in EVITA and they reviewed Terri Klausner, the matinee Eva Peron and raved.
Will Julie be the Greater Star of this production other than Jared Grimes?
Jared is featured in the show. He’s given several moments to showcase his tap dancing. The other times he’s on stage is to react and that’s it. Anyone blowing him up as more needs to revisit the show and let those early preview excitement clear their memories.

Happy to be proven wrong but I doubt they'd cast the second coming of Barbra. It doesn't seem to be Mayer's vision for this part and there's no incentive to set up a hugely unfavorable comparison. Sheridan Smith, Tammy Blanchard... Rumors about Beanie's casting aside, he seems willing to buck conventional wisdom with his musical revivals.
It will be interesting to hear if Julie plays the role differently given (presumably) similar direction.
Was Terri Klausner ever really a star? Not to be (too) mean, but I’ve only heard of her as the Eva alternate, not any other role.
Much love to Julie. As much as everyone on this board has a right to their opinion about the performance of the original lead, I hope there’s no tension or awkwardness amongst the cast because of the comparisons.

Since Ramin is out of the show for 10 days as he calls it ''Rona'' I wonder who will be Fanny's Nick Arnstein for the weekend? Who played Nick tonight-Thursday with Beanie?
