At least on the surface, this musical seems to have a few similarities to a show that premiered in Seattle a couple months back:

Even down to their titles. Dealing with grief, difficult parent-child relations, and family secrets. I guess millenials, myself included, are growing up and starting to deal with some ****.

Seattle local, first time posting, some minor spoilers.
I was very excited to finally see this at Saturday’s matinee, been looking forward to for a while. Overall, Bruce is an entertaining show, if predictable and relatively slight. The behind-the-scenes drama behind the making of Jaws might seem inherently dramatic but the stakes just aren’t ever really there.
