That's insane! How did the line/availability turn out?

 

Still gutted that this production is closing - was hoping to catch it another time later this year when I'd be in town. I'm left wondering what exactly led to the closure decision (if it was contract renewals, I still would've loved to see the show with replacements for Lenk and Lupone). But excited for everyone who's gonna be in the house tonight for the final bow - please tell us how it goes :)

Just wanted to add to the theory about the "new direction" being the proposal for Julie and Beanie to split shows until end of September (which I suspect is what happened):

 

• Earlier this year, there were discussions about Julie taking all the matinees and having her contract adjusted for this. Confirmed by someone who worked in the theater, so this arrangement must have fell through somehow. So this proposal has been discussed in some form before.

Deuxmoi (an anonymous celeb gossip account) has posted today on Instagram that Lea Michele will be taking over (the cast was told today). They are sometimes wrong, but they had info on Ramin Karimloo's casting in the production way back in August 2021 when it was officially announced October.
