Thank you so much for your thoughts on this. A few weeks ago, I saw the trailer at the movies and the music made my eyes tear up. I've pulled out the soundtrack and have been listening to it ever since. I will take your advice and see them as two separate entities. My sincere hope is that people like it enough to want to see it on stage. As silly as it may sound to some, Rent changed my life.

Hi everyone, I am very new to this board and perhaps this isn't even the thread to discuss this, but...I will. It has probably been discussed ad nauseum.
