I'm intrigued to see what Wolfe will do with the role and if she'll rise to the occasion. I'm not from NY (or the USA for what matters, hi from Brazil :D) so everything I see from Broadway if from my computer, but from everything I've ever saw Betsy Wolfe in, i've found her lacking in... seasoning. Still hoping for the best since I love this show!
(And please GOD I hope they find a good Helen replacement!)

Who knew this ould be such a crazy thread? Probably anyone who reads here regularly, honestly.
Giving my opinion that literally nobody asked, Patti's comment against Kecia probably wasn't intended to be racist, she just hates everyone equally. But when you put in the context of the struggle of black people triyng to make it on the musical theater industry and the uphill battlee they have to face, her comparing Broadway credits with someone who's been facing this battle

God, this incessant attempt to put actual world problems as big as racism in such stupid little aspects of this show will never end? Every time someone says anything even a little bit critical of this production they are deemed as white privileged people who can't possibly fathom the grandness of such a revolutionary revival.

Not to be rude but if a 5 seconds joke about a sponsered wedding is the thing that turns you off of a musical, you must be so fun at parties.
The musical is a lot of FUN. Meghan Hilty and Jennifer Simard are stellar on it, and Christopher Sieber as Ernest is really good at being the punching bag. Michelle Williams is the one who seems a bit unconfortable in the role as stated by previous posts, the show would benefit hugely with broadway star with a big stage presence i

If she actually wanted to have a discussion about this she would have just walked to the theater next door and talked to Patti. Posting a video on social media with a very condescending tone and accusing someone else of bullying and microagression is not only classless but also extremelly attention seeking. Kecia Lewis is a pro and has been in the industry for a very long time, she would know very well how to handle this properly if she actually wanted to. This just screams attention seeking sin
