re: DRS Songbook (key changes?)
Just to clarify and correct slightly...unlike opera, changing the key of a musical theatre song up or down a half-step or two is generally fine, as long as you find someone to transpose the sheet music for you. What IS frowned upon is not changing the sheet music and forcing the poor accompanists (such as myself!) to transpose on sight.
