to answer you aasjb4ever, if a west end theatre does use a safety curtain, it comes down as soon as act 1 finishes and lifts about 2 minutes before act 2 begins. Hope this answers your question :)

can anyone explain the newsies curtain to me, it looks like a tall frame with 9 box's, those boxes have a screen of some sort in front of them , how does that screen dissapear when the show starts as the steel frame seems to be used throughout the show but the screens are not attached any more?

Must say i am really excited about this musical, hope it comes to london soon. The soundtrack sounds great, i was wondering if anyone knew could you tell me what the opening is like and what the prologue is like in act 1 and act 2 and what it is about.

Thank you so much to those who uploaded the Book of Mormon curtain pictures, i have wanted to know what the curtain looked like for ages. could you tell me one thing? does the arch onfront of the curtain move or rise up during the show as it seems quite low.
