So, Diana is definitley doing this. She's going to blow everyone away with what she will do as penny, I know :)

Diana did really well in WSS, got great reviews, especially from people going into the show not expecting it to be great. She held an opera note and blew everyone over, especially in the scene where Tony died.

This is great news for Diana! I'm realy excited for her. She loves doing theatre and I think people have doubts in her just because she was an 'american idol.'

Thanks again! One of the dates (5/12) is a concert that Diana already had scheduled, so I wonder what will happen there. The leader of the Diana site posted that it is official! Can't wait!

Diana played the role of Maria in West Side Story for 2 weeks in San Jose, CA. She was asked to audtion for the role and she ended up getting the lead, Maria. I was able to see Diana in this play which was really amazing. Diana pulled off every scene and her vocals were outstanding. Especially the last scene where everything is dramatic, so perfect. She also got outstanding reviews from people who went into the show not thinking she was going to do great. I will come and post them if you want. A
