I saw Passion on Friday and it was breathtaking. I highly recommend the seats on the side near the stage - I was in C20 and the actors made their entrances and exits just a few feet from me. The facial expressions I was able to witness by Melissa Errico and Judy Kuhn when making their exits made me want to rebook that seat for a future performance.
I saw it last night, so it was technically the last Friday night performance - wish I could have made it again tonight but glad I got to go last night! I loved it - Judith Ivey was hilarious, the audience was very enthusiastic for all the actors and it was a wonderful show. Jessica Chastain has created her own, unique style of acting which is unforgettable, and she was gorgeous at stage door in the freezing cold and snow. I'm glad I was able to see it before it closed.
During Hurricane Sandy, shows were only cancelled because all public transportation was shut down; they resumed shortly after the storm with incredible discounts or were even free. This blizzard will be nowhere near as extreme so mostly likely nothing will be cancelled. EDIT: But then again - like you said (I just got this email now) Notify NYC 4:24 PM (11 minutes ago) Notification issued 2/7/13 at 4:15 PM. The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Warning for New York City from 6:00...
Have mercy! Met him at stage door at Scandalous and despite the cold, he came out without a coat. Darn those investors for closing the show before the summer!
I bought two tickets for this event and my other half cannot make it. Ticket cost me $20 including fees. The venue holds only 30 people so I doubt there's a bad seat. Saturday, February 9 @ 8PM.
I remember that! She wasn't a prisoner, though, she was an archivist in in the library. So you are right, Dolly, that we have seen her in a prison. Wow, Joel Grey and Rita Moreno were on Oz, too.
