I'll always have a soft spot for Kendra Kassabaum, who was the first actress I saw as Glinda on the tour paired with Julia Murney. Seems probable that acknowledgement in current/future productions was part of the settlement between the two parties.Although it's funny--one of the reviews from the tour explicitly mentioned it being based on the play, even though at the time the producers were vehemently denying any relation. Does anyone know how often pairs Nessa's silver shoes from Wicked tend to pop up at the flea market? And how much they tend to go for? A friend is going for me this year so we're trying to figure how much I should send her on the off chance she finds them.

Does anyone know if the Signature Theatre version made any changes to the show itself? I'm still a bit bummed that the Thom Southerland version (the one which was in Toronto a few years back and IIRC is currently touring in the UK) never took off in the US. I thought the way they changed a few things to sort of center the show around Bruce Ismay gave it more structure.

2-3 years ago the rumor was that the Southerland production was going to be revived on Broadway after an American tour, but it didn't sell too well in Toronto (although it was a beautiful show and performance) and the only American stop was cancelled. The cast recording is the Papermill version of the show, but IIRC the only significant difference music-wise between La Jolla and Papermill is a single song (the Thai Mol Pyas/tavern song).

I prefer the original German production dress the most.Though as StephieElise said, there's not just "Broadway" or "West End." The dress has changed many times over the years, even within the same productions.

How common are prop pieces at the flea market? II'm not in NYC but a friend of mine is going and they offered to pick up some things and I'm hoping to get some props from Wicked or if they have any out, Anastasia.
