Spelling Bee Love

I saw it the other night and have come to the conclusion that Jacqui Polk should definitely be Olive. She was so amazing, and her hair is perfect. Rory O'Malley is the best Barfee I've ever seen, and Barrett Foa is just adorable. Everyone else was wonderful.

It's a fun play, because everyone likes to guess the ending and try to figure everything out, but it's nothing amazing. It kind of seemed to me like a game of clue being acted out. It's good, though.

Try asking someone if they know who Stephen Schwartz is, after they've gushed about how obsessed they are with Wicked. It's kind of sad.

I'm sure this is already a thread, but I figured I might as well. Top five songs? (from actual musicals, not their movies) 1. Still Hurting-The Last Five Years 2. Alone in the Universe-Seussical 3. A Little Fall of Rain-Les Miz 4. I'll Cover You (Reprise)-RENT 5. Contact-RENT (didn't think it fit so well in the play, but for some reason I love the song)

No, I agree. She does grow on you, and she was the original Mimi. It's so her character. *When I say I like Mimi and people go "Oh my God Rosario Dawson is so pretty and so good" and I'm like, "Actually I was talking about Daphne."

"Seussical the Musical" where I play a Fish in it's possible, a Who, a Citizen of the Jungle, and a Circus Animal. I'm also working on a musical of my own, but we'll see how that turns out.

*triple and double posts (it's kind of embarrassing) And I liked Daphne, if that's who you were talking about. Granted, she wasn't the most gifted singer in the world, but I don't think anyone really owns that title. She was a good Mimi, although I liked Rosario's voice better.
