think of it this way...it is going to someone who has done/is doing the show...so they went for someone who basically knows all of the lines and dances and songs. At least who ever auditioned for the role of Tracy can think "I got beat out for the part by someone who has done it instead of another unknown" That is how I am looking at it!

I took my one of my favorite musicals (which happens to be The Wizard of Oz) and turned my room into "OZ" with flowers and lollypops, dolls and anything I could find! It looks like oz all I need now is a yellow brick road!

Im 15 years old and when I heard that they were making a movie I was siked. From the time the show was out I always knew I wanted to play Tracy Turnblad. There aren't a lot of parts out there in the world for the "bigger, shorter" girls. I miss the first set of auditions, because I found out after but when I saw you could send in a tape I was estatic. i sent in my photo and resume and with in 24 hours they wanted to hear me sing. Within 2 days my tape was out and all I could do is wait. They rec
