Violet - Tony Day Performance

Jun 8, 2014 — 10:14:50 AM

Somewhat silly question. I'm seeing today's matinee of Violet. Do you think Sutton will be out since it's Tony day? This is the first time I've caught a show on the day of the ceremony so I'm not sure what usually goes down.

Thanks!

NATASHA, PIERRE AND THE GREAT COMET to Move to Tent on 45th

This is so exciting. So happy for them. I think the article said they're working on reducing prices, so hopefully the $125 price tag won't be an issue. As much as I do love this show, that is pretty steep. Keep in mind, though, that discounts and rush will eventually be available.

I saw the Ars Nova production and thought it was gorgeous! I was concerned with the big venue, but it looks like it's still really magical. Ars Nova was so intimate, and it was hard to picture a transfer. But I couldn't be happier for their success and recent award nominations. I'm seeing it on 5/19/13, and I can't wait.

I have a really silly question. I'm seeing Matilda tonight. But I noticed in Bertie Carvel's Tony reaction comments that he was in Lake George. Do you guys have any idea if he'll be performing tonight? I'm sure I'll still enjoy if he's out, but that would be disappointing!

I'm devastated by the Brantley pan. Do you think this will hurt the show? Did he even see the same show we did?

Here Lies Love

I have a silly question. I just caved and got a Balcony Seat ticket to Here Lies Love. I hate standing, and yes, I know I won't be able to interact. It's not the "Partial View" tickets there were selling. Anyone know if this is any good? Will I still see everything and get to enjoy it? It sounds wonderful.
