I'm seeing it on the 26th. Can't wait! I love Jinkx. A friend on Facebook said it's wonderful.
See here for an awesome review on Theatermania, too: http://www.theatermania.com/new-york-city-theater/reviews/07-2013/the-vaudevillians-with-jinkx-monsoon_65539.html

I'm seeing it on the 26th as well. With Jinkx Monsoon in it, it can be nothing but great. Saw her as Velma in Hairspray last month and she was a star!

A truly fantastic, hilarious, smart, and well-performed show. Jinkx is immensely talented. The show goes from lowbrow jokes about circumsized men to jokes about Weill and Brecht.
I recommend it heartily to everyone.

How long does the show run, Kad? I'm seeing it at midnight and was wondering how long I'll be out that night.

Our midnight show started about 12:15, we left around 2:50.
Warm up act Emma Dean performed two songs at the beginning. We stayed for the Meet and Greet and also chatted with Dean afterwards which added some extra time, YMMV.

I was at the 9:30 show and the performance ended at around 11:30.

Someone should be producing either VAMPIRE LESBIANS OF SODOM or PSYCHO BEACH PARTY for Jerick Hoffer (Jinkx Monsoon). I did think the show felt a titch long, but too much of a good thing is never bad. A truly terrific performer.

That is a brilliant idea, SonofRobbieJ! She'd be perfect for either.

A friend suggested her as Cora in Anyone Can Whistle- I'd pay to see that, too.

I need to see this! I'm not a huge Jinx fan (go Alaska!), but girl has talent, so I'm excited.

I just gasped at the idea of Jinkx playing Cora. That is really a wonderful casting choice.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

I saw this Friday night and it was great! After getting up at 5AM, working all day, flying to NYC (awake the whole way), landing at 9PM, then walking around the city for nearly two hours, I collapsed into my seat at the theatre around 11:45PM and wasn't sure I was going to be able to stay awake through the show--especially once I conquered a couple of drinks to satisfy the $15 minimum.
Well, for an hour and forty-five minutes, I felt like I was on a caffeine IV. As I've said before, Jinkx is a tremendously talented actor, singer and comedienne, and delivered a thoroughly entertaining evening. I thought her co-star would serve only as a prop but Major Scales held his own against Jinkx and the two created quite a dynamic act.
When I got back to my hotel at 2:30AM, I was still energized and wide awake. It was a great start to the weekend!

Jax, my daughter and I had the same feeling, we didn't get to sleep until 4, too wound up (in the best possible way).
In this interview on Playbill, Jinkx discusses her favorite drag standards. Really good and fun choices. Would love to see her perform Everybody's Girl from Steel Pier.
I'd also love to see her as Sally Bowles in Cabaret with Major Scales as the Emcee.

To those of you who haven't seen The Vaudevillians yet:
Those of us who have posted reviews on this thread are quite serious: it's a really great show!
And, it's been extended again with additional performances in September and October!
