I personally think that there should be two boards for every musical. One for people who hate it, and one for people who love it. We all stay on our boards and everyone has a good time.

I really haven't seen much lately (haven't had the money) but I do have the soundtracks (which I've taken from rich friends who don't really want them)...but the last show I saw that I really really liked was Avenue Q, but I'm somehow getting tickets to A Chorus Line's revival.
This is why I hibernate on livejournal... people hate me the second they talk to me.

I saw DRS because of Norbert, but I didn't like it at all. I haven't really loved a musical for years.... I guess I'm just extraordinarily jaded.

The reason I don't like Wicked is the music (well the weak book is another reason), and that I find crazy. I'm a Renthead *points to icon* but I don't show up every day. I didn't even like Idina in the movie.... there isn't a lot I like about the movie, but esp. Idina.
Anyway, I hate how the "Eyedina" fans have been veering into the Rent world... it's been giving us a bad name. Well, the fangirls have been giving us a bad name for about... ever, so no real change.

The music would still be amazing, well I personally think it would be better, without her... I think just listening to her songs becase it's her, is just... stupid.

But you don't have your name as "iLOvEYeDiNa232" or whatever, and you don't have the Wicked poster or something as your picture. I didn't say ALL Idina lovers are fangirls, just the 15 year olds who are Wicked obesessed.

How can you not get upset at miss wicked? I know people in RENT world are as annoying as hell, but seriously, the 15 year odl girls in the Wicked fandoms are out of their minds... and you can spot them by their Idina addictions.

Oh crap... I'm really dreadfully sorry, I read your comment wrong. I've just been getting really testy from this Red Tracksuit that has been bouncing around the boards...
I have an odd memory of it being performed like that before, but I really don't think you can take my word for it. I read it as if it was peformed in the show like that... I need to get some sleep...

I didn't even see See What I Wanna See, because I hate Idina... sort of the same reasoning? But then my friend convinced me to listen to the soundtrack, and I love it now... 'cept for the whole Idina part...
I used to think it was a good thing when I saw that people were looking away from American Idol for a millisecond and seeing Phantom, but I was wrong. Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong. All I got (for a few months) were freaky fangirls singing Think of Me. That was fun.
