I personally agree with you lilhead...the show is genereally boring. I saw it 5 years or so and thought that it had some touching moments. But for the most part I kep asking myself why the show was ever written. And why does it have to be so long.
Friends that have performed in the show loved being a part of it tho.
who knows...

I just got the Amour cast album. It has some nice moments. Though, it was a complete bore from what I hear.

I heard from a friend who saw both productions that there was a huge dance number cut from the SF production. He said he hated the sond thought loved the choreography. Does anyone else know if this is true????

Naked Boys Singing is a 'naked' show also, but not as lyrically blunt as Ave Q.

I don't think either Hedwig has a sticker, I know for sure the movie does not. But Hediwg is pretty racey too. I think the humor in Hedwig is a little more subtle, ironically enough. Ave. Q is so blunt.

I just recieved the Avenue Q soundtrack in the mail today and laughed at the Parental Advisory sticker on the cover. My roommate and I were trying to think of another show that may have a sticker. Is Ave. Q the "raciest" show ever on Broadway???
