I've already posted on here...but I need to update: I recently just ended "Urinetown" with my high school and I played Hope Cladwell. At the beginning of "I See a River," it's supposed to be kind gospel-ish....and I didn't think the stuff Jennifer Laura Thompson did on the CD was enough.....so I added a bunch of riffs and runs...and the greatest was when someone started whistling while I was singing....like those kind of whistles when you're like "daaaaaaaang"....it was a pretty good feeling....

I thought she was HORRIBLE as Clara. I really don't see a future for her. Maybe as a character actress. I was not impressed. I know it sounds bitchy, but her voice is no match to Kelli and I think they should have found someone with more vocal experience. She was a FANTASTIC actress for the part, possibly better than Kelli.

I saw "The Light in the Piazza" the other night. I wasn't all that impressed with her performance as Clara. Her voice seemed so young and inexperienced. Do you think it's what the directors wanted? What's next for her?

Romantic show that has ever been on Broadway/Off Broadway? I just love those kind of shows and I wanted everyone's opinion. :)

oh I would DEFINITELY be Clara in "The Light in the Piazza" I can identify with her so much. I'm the youngest of 6 children and I'm totally overprotected and definitely limited.It's practically my dream role and I'm totally in love with the show.
