I agree that you can get some talent from this method and understand you need some exposure for a show. But why not get them a cd and put them in tv shows like soaps etc.

I am not against reality comps, but hate it when its for theatre and when idol winners think they can act. Laura got Grease because of this but got a career through hard work.

I thought Russell was really good in the part his singing was fine, Hugh Jackman was fine, and Ann was great. Samantha was great . Samantha and Ann are both featured and both great. Ann will get an Oscar and Hugh will get a nomination.
