Apologies if this was already discussed - but does anyone know the scoop on why most of the ensemble was replaced in the Bway company of On the Town from the production at Barrington Stage?

One of my favorites....I grew up listening to my mother's album...
I played the overture and opening number over and over again growing up....
SOMEONE NEEDS TO DO IT!! Thanks for bringing it up... Great memories with those songs...

One more piece of advice - and this was a BIG help to me. I had issues with breath control and with my belt and I started running... Yes, running / jogging helped increase my lung capacity and helped my belt by leaps and bounds...I started off as a dancer who could sing well - to a singer who was called back for Fantine in Les Miz on several occasions. Basically, any kind of high impact cardio... and the best thing about this - it's free!! (and a nice workout....)

I would like to say that I never post on this! I do enjoy the "banter" between people.. But your post made me set up an account and write back.
I think you have a lovely voice! I follow with what a couple of others posted - working with a voice teacher would definitely help strengthen you voice and a good coach could help you find material to make you shine!
I think you mentioned somewhere that you are Australian? I have MANY Australian friends that have had great careers in Au
