On the Town Bway Cast vs Barrington

Apologies if this was already discussed - but does anyone know the scoop on why most of the ensemble was replaced in the Bway company of On the Town from the production at Barrington Stage?

There was over a year in between the closing of the Barrington and the rehearsals for Bway. I imagine most of them went on to other jobs.

Yes, they weren't "replaced" and there is no "scoop". It's a new production, newly cast, where they retained a few leads. No more, no less.
